Deposit for Registration We require a £360 deposit for each child.
£60 of this deposit is non-refundable and contributes towards uniform and settling costs.
The remaining £300 will be refunded on your final bill.
Once we receive your deposit, we will start the settling procedure.
Notice Period
A minimum of 1 month’s written notice is required to remove your child or reduce their hours.
We must inform local authorities of any changes, so failure to provide notice may result in funding discrepancies.
Eating at Little Llamas Montessori Nursery Our daily fees include:

Afternoon Snack
Tea
Parents may supply packed lunches, but this will not change the fees. A list of ingredients must be provided for allergen compliance. We reserve the right to refuse packed lunches.
Discounts
A 10% discount applies to the first additional child attending full-time and another 10% to the second additional child.
Discounts are deducted from the eldest child first.
A 10% discount is also available for twins or multiple births attending full-time.
Invoicing & Payments
Monthly invoices are emailed via the Blossom application.
It is your responsibility to notify us if you do not receive an invoice.
Payments are due by the 1st of each month via standing order, BACS transfer, voucher, or tax-free childcare.
Late payments incur a £25 per child per month charge.
Unsettled debts may result in exclusion.
Minimum Attendance We require:
At least 3 full days per week, or
4 half days per week.

Nappies & Milk
Nappies and wipes are included in your monthly fees.
Nappies are changed every 3 hours or as needed.
Parents may supply preferred brands if desired.
We do not provide milk formula.
Emergency Closure In case of extreme weather, fire, or utility failure making the nursery unsafe, an emergency closure procedure will be followed. Fees remain payable for any part-day closure and the first full day of any separate closure event.
Sickness & Infection Control
Children should not attend nursery if they have any contagious condition or within 48 hours of vomiting, diarrhea, or a high temperature.
Fever must be absent for 24 hours before returning.
Parents will be contacted for immediate collection if symptoms arise at nursery.
Fees remain payable during sickness.
Session Start & Finish Times
If you arrive early, you may need to wait for the session to start.
Late collection incurs an initial £15 charge, followed by £5 for every additional 15 minutes to cover staff overtime.
Funding Information
We handle administration for funding claims.
We must record all absences and reasons for them.
If your child does not use all their funded hours for an extended period, Brighter Future for Children may withdraw funding, making you responsible for the costs.
Absence Reporting
Absences must be reported immediately on the first morning and daily thereafter.
Fees remain payable during absence.
Emergency Contact Ensure we have your most up-to-date contact details.
Medication
We administer prescribed medication only after 24 hours have passed since the first dose.
A completed medication form with written instructions and authorization is required.
Key Worker System
A designated key worker will track your child's progress using the Montessori curriculum.
Reports will be available via the Blossom App, allowing parents to interact and comment.
Safeguarding Children
Inform staff about the designated pickup person each day.
If a new person is collecting your child, provide their name, relationship, and a pre-arranged password.
ID and password verification will be required before releasing the child.
We do not allow unauthorized individuals to pick up children, even if they have done so before.
Exiting the Nursery
Do not allow anyone else to enter when you are exiting.
All visitors must ring the doorbell and be met by staff.
Ensure the inner lobby door is securely closed when entering or exiting.
Clothing Requirements
Outdoor Clothing:
Summer: Lightweight layers, UV protection, sun hat, and sunscreen (provided by nursery with parental consent).
Winter: Warm clothing, including sweaters, coats, hats, and gloves.
Indoor Clothing:
A unique nursery apron will be provided.
Parents should supply a change of clothes for messy activities, meals, and toilet visits.
Footwear:
Close-cropped soles to prevent tripping.
Soft leather uppers for comfort.
Lightweight, flexible soles for walking development.
Fully adjustable fastenings and padded ankles for support.
Sandals are not accepted in summer.
Autumn/Winter/Spring: Bring named boots for outdoor use.
Indoor shoes: Waterproof slippers or lightweight pumps must be provided and kept at the nursery.
Labeling Clothes & Shoes: We are not responsible for missing items, so please label all belongings with your child’s full name.
Potty/Toilet Training
We work closely with parents to build children's confidence in toilet training.
Parents must provide extra clothing for accidents.
Soiled clothes will be rinsed and returned in a sealed bag for washing at home.
Car Park Safety
Follow all parking regulations around the nursery.
Pram Storage
Prams can be left in the outdoor corridor.
Rain covers are recommended.
The nursery is not responsible for damage or theft.
