In 2024 the government announced the following Funding plan:
9-23 months old children are entitled to 15 hours for working families.
2 years old children are entitled to 15hours for working families.
3 to 4 years old children are entitled to15 hours for all families and 30 hours for working families.
In September 2025, Children from the age of 9 months old will be able to receive 30 hours of government funding childcare for working families.
Please keep in mind that this is you full responsibility to check your eligibility through the HMRC website. Once you have completed your application you will be issued with an Eligibility code. We will need this eligibility code to confirm your registration to local authorities. Codes must be renewed every 3 months. You will also need to complete our Little Llamas Montessori agreement.
On HMRC website you might be entitled to 15 or 30 hours per week which is the equivalent 570 or 1140 hours per year.
Now those figures are based on 38 weeks out of 52 weeks but at Little Llamas Montessori Nursery we open 50 weeks per year, so your free hours of childcare allowance will be stretched and will become 11.40 hours or 22.80 hours per week.
We will occasionally apply additional charges. You will be able to refuse, and we will ask your approval before, such charges will be for:
Extra hours
Parties
Trips
If you are working parents you are entitled to apply for Tax-Free Childcare by subscribing through the government website, www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare.
For every 80p pay into the account, the government will top-up an extra 20p.
there is a cap limit of £2,000 per year per children and £4,000 for disabled children.
Once again this is your personal choice on which option you would like to go for.
We will do our best to accommodate but decision is yours.
The nursery is open 51 weeks per year, close 1 week in August and for 3 training days.
Early drop-offs starting at 7.30am available.
